King Seiko KSK 44-9990

Why it matters
A more physical expression of the early King Seiko language: substantial lugs, a raised crystal and pronounced index volumes answering one another.
What I look at
The important change is the coordination of volumes. The lugs, markers and crystal all become more emphatic.
Crisp lug edges make the intended junctions particularly clear; their sharpness is part of the composition.
