The Tanaka Line

Seiko Style,
closely observed

The Tanaka Line is solely devoted to vintage King Seiko and Grand Seiko, and to the rare commitment to abstract form expressed in their design. Line, proportion and the meeting of surfaces give these watches their distinctive character. Taro Tanaka’s Grammar of Design lies at the root of this formal language. Tracing its development brings us closer to the watches themselves, where the shape of a case and the ingenuity of its construction deserve equally close attention.
